Most people call 9-1-1 after getting into an accident but one New Mexico woman had a different idea.
Sky Blue, a 22-year-old who was involved in the incident, recalled the incident to the Las Cruces Sun-News and explained that a woman had run a red light and clipped her vehicle. Then, when both vehicles came to a stop, the woman got out.
“The woman took her clothes off and threw a roll of paper towels down the road and she was walking down the street against traffic,” Blue said.
The odd behavior shocked Blue, who shared that she was on the way to her mother’s house. After notifying her mother, she then called emergency services.
“I thought she was going to come and fight me. I didn’t know, I was kind of confused as to what had happened,” she said.
According to the newspaper, Dan Trujillo, a spokesperson for the Las Cruces Police Department, confirmed that the naked woman was taken into custody for a mental health evaluation.
No arrests were made at the time.
