Netflix “Cheaters”: Here’s Your Contract to Sign!

If you still have several streaming series to finish because you’re waiting for your significant other to watch the remaining episodes, congratulations: You’re not a Netflix cheater.

The streaming service is trying to keep the peace with a Netflix Cheating Contract, a cheeky checklist that is attempting to ensure that neither of you strays…from your queue.

Among the promises on the contract:

-I WON’T fall asleep
-I WON’T get distracted by my phone causing the other person to rewind because I missed something
-I WON’T continue watching a show without the other person present
-I WON’T talk whilst the show is on
-In the event that I come across a spoiler, I WON’T share it with the other person.

A 2017 survey from the streaming service noted that 46% of all couples Netflix cheat — and 48% of those Netflix cheaters are married. Eighteen percent of couples have actually had a verbal argument over Netflix cheating, the survey found.

Shockingly, 14% of those believed Netflix cheating is worse than having an actual affair.
