Service, Style, Success, and Scholarship – the four points of the crowns that
will be awarded March 16th at UWGB, Manitowoc Campus!
Manitowoc will again be host for a local preliminary competition for the Miss America
Organization. The Miss Harbor Cities and Outstanding Teen Competition will be held on March 16, 2019 at 4 p.m. at the University Theatre of UWGB, Manitowoc Campus.
Nineteen women from the state of Wisconsin will compete for the titles and scholarship.
The winners will represent the shores of Lake Michigan at the Miss Wisconsin and Miss
Wisconsin’s Outstanding Teen pageants in Oshkosh, June 2019.
The areas of competition are private interview, fitness, onstage question, evening gown,
and talent. The show will be hosted by Manitowoc native and Miss Wisconsin 2016 Courtney Pelot and feature the current Miss Harbor Cities, Serena Larie, Miss Harbor Cities’ Outstanding Teen, Olivia Lulich, and Miss Wisconsin 2018, Tianna Vanderhei, who was Miss Harbor Cities in 2016.
Vanderhei placed as a top 15 semi-finalist and was the winner of the preliminary Onstage Interview Award at the Miss America Competition this past September. The show is open to the public and will feature special performances by current and past
titleholders, people’s choice voting and a drop raffle. Tickets are available at the door for $20 or in advance for $15 online at missharborcities.org. People’s choice voting is also available prior to the show on the website. More information is available on the website and Facebook.
