Want to Avoid Millennials on Vacation? Don’t Go Here in 2019!

If you’re a millennial and want to seek out your kind on vaca — or, if you’re not, but want to avoid them during your hard-earned time off — the travel app Hopper has your back.

The app, which skews to that younger demographic, has ranked the most-searched destinations for vacations in 2019. Here are Hopper’s top 10 hotspots for vacationing millennials:

1. Bora Bora
2. St. Martin
3. Aspen, Colorado
4. Denpasar, Indonesia (Bali)
5. Kahului, Hawaii (Maui)
6. Dublin, Ireland
7. St. Lucia
8. Tokyo, Japan
9. Palm Springs, California
10. Anchorage, Alaska

Like most aspects of their lives, potential travelers in that age group are heavily influenced by social media. “There are nearly 360 million posts using #travel on Instagram so it has become a huge source of inspiration for many millennials as they choose their next getaway,” Hopper’s Liana Corwin said.
