A man from Helena, Montana tells cops he had a brush with death after he got mistaken for Bigfoot.
Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office tells ABC affiliate KFBB-TV that a man was taking target practice when someone allegedly fired on him.
The alleged victim reported having to take cover before getting a chance to confront the shooter, who admitted, “I was out hunting Bigfoot.”
Leo Dutton of the sheriff’s office, noted, “It seemed like a non-emotional approach to something that’s extremely serious.”
The alleged victim said he couldn’t remember what the shooter looked like, though he noted he drove a black Ford F-150 — which cops couldn’t locate.
