When Robert Quigley didn’t have a light for his cigarette, no worries. He used the flames from his burning car to fire up his smoke.
Quigley was allegedly driving drunk in California Sunday, doing 75 to 80 mph when he crashed into a car at a traffic light, KTXL reports. Police arrived on the scene just as the car burst into flames.
Quigley wasn’t dismayed by the fire, though. A witness said he used it to light his cigarette, burning parts of his eyebrows off as he did so.
When questioned about his behavior, Quigley allegedly told police: “I’m not afraid of fire. I deal with this kind of stuff all the time.
Quigley’s been charged with suspicion of driving while drunk — his second such arrest this week.
