Don’t drink and drive. Especially if you’re going to pick up your boyfriend at the police station after he got a DUI.
WEWS in Cleveland reports that Kristopher Fox, 23, was stopped for speeding in Plain Township. The arresting officer said the driver wreaked of booze and after submitting to a field sobriety test, was brought to jail.
After he was charged, he was released and called his girlfriend to pick him up.
29-year-old Brandi Rae Coen sounded intoxicated when she spoke with the arresting officer over the phone, who cautioned her not to come in if she had been drinking.
She denied it, but when she showed, the sergeant said she smelled like alcohol. He also said she had glassy eyes and seemed to have trouble walking.
So Coen was given a field sobriety test, which she failed. She was arrested and placed in jail.
Later, police found her two children in her car. She faces charges of child endangerment as well as DUI.
