The State Patrol continues to investigate a three vehicle freeway crash that killed an eight-year-old boy and a 26-year-old man in Fond du Lac. Troopers say the two were passengers in a car that was stopped behind a semi truck — and the car was rear ended by an S-U-V, thus causing a chain reaction crash involving all three units. It happened late Wednesday morning on Interstate 41 in Fond du Lac. The S-U-V overturned, and a 35-year-old Eldorado man who was a passenger in that S-U-V was flown to a hospital with life threatening injuries. Drivers of the car and the S-U-V were treated for non life threatening injuries.
